Finally People Similar To Me

Having OCD can be a very lonely thing and anyone with it knows that. After doing some research I found this amazing website that is all in support for people who are struggling with OCD and a community of people just being there for each other from all over the world. It's amazing what reading other's stories and hearing other's perspectives about living with OCD can really help. There are people from all walks of life and are in different stages of their lives. I've learned how to cope with living with OCD now and seeing that I'll be able to continue living with it. Hopefully have a family, career, and follow the "normal" steps of growing up! This is my Tribe :)

  4. hello. i am a teen girl living in the u.s., i am 80% sure that i may have ocd. i've been having many of the symptoms and have been researching it for a while now. it started when i was about 10 and a half and has been going on since then. it seems like it used to be near the back of my mind and then has just came closer and closer until it is at the very front and seems much more severe. it would be hard to list all of the symptoms, but i really do think i have it. i've been researching it for so long and also went on a list and i have a lot of the signs. it has been getting more severe lately. haven't mentioned it to anyone, but i have tried hinting to family members. don't know how to tell anyone and i don't want medical help. i don't have many friends to tell, also I have Selective Mutism, (sm) do you think that may be related to this? i don't know if you still read or go on this blog anymore. if so, do you have any advice to offer?
